This article will give you enough information to get out there and start doing it and start getting in the shape you want and deserve.

.) Pick out a gym that your comfortable in or you enjoy being in because as time goes by your going to find there is a lot of days you just don’t feel like working out and if you don’t like your gym or the music they play that’s not going to help you motivate yourself to get there. The gym should be a time of pleasure where you can push yourself to the limit and enjoy what you’re accomplishing.

.) Next find a good thick book on weight lifting you should be able to find one for beginners online or at a local bookstore. If you don’t like reading consult a local trainer or a professional to help you design a good workout program must gyms you join offer this for free just for signing up for a monthly membership.

.) Start eating healthy I know this sounds pretty straight forward but getting in shape can be a bit of a science sometimes so speak with your trainer or do research you should be eating a high amount of protein and 6 small meals a day is optimal to put on muscle. Don’t start off as healthy as possible just slowly start eating better or else you will give up before you see the results.

.) Find a source of motivation something that will drive you to success maybe a picture of a loved one or someone who told you it’s impossible and you will never do it or maybe even a magazine with your favourite bodybuilder on it, just find what motivates you and harness it and show your friends the results you have achieved.

.) When weight lifting for beginner you must always keep learning so don’t learn a few exercises and think you know it all keep learning more techniques and keep up with weight training cause it’s always evolving.
